You won't know what happens to your character, unfortunately.
Perhaps you can figure something out, but judging by the playthroughs I saw here, my character probably got killed.

Awesome remake, this has always been a really cool concept to me... multiplayer without telling the player (at least until the end)
Never played the original, but I enjoyed this. Crazy twist. Took me a minute to understand what just happened haha.
I heard that the original game was taken down due to digital attacks. It's a shame that it had to be recreated. Also, for those who are wondering, the hidden shining object just out of reach is the hidden gold.
